A Witness to the Beautiful Power of Mother Mary

My Holy Mary Statue

In 1999, my family and I had scheduled a flight to fly to America. The day before I asked my sister in law who lived in Yogyakarta to send me a Holy Mary statue to be put in my new home in America.

My husband, Nico, told my sister in law to deliver the statue in a truck from Yogayakrta to Jakarta, where my family lived. The truck that delivered the statue was the same truck that delivered heavy machinary used by my husband's father.

One morning, the Holy Mary statue was making its way from Yogyakarta to Jakarta in a truck filled with heavy machinaries.

Unfortunately, at 4am that morning, the truck got into an accident in the middle of the highway and the truck rolled over along with the drivers. The police called my family and informed us about the accident; thankfully, the 2 drivers that were inside the truck were alive. The remaining of the truck, the machinaries, and other contents were spread out on the road, broken down in pieces.

The police said that this specific area of the highway were known for having accidents that led to many deaths so it was a miracle that the 2 drivers weren't harm.

Other than the drivers, the Holy Mary statue also made it through the accident with only a small broken piece off her golden crown.

So how could it be that the truck itself, the machines, and every other contents that were in that truck got shattered into pieces and the two drivers and the Holy Mary statue survived?

Police say that the statue saved the driver and when the driver heard about the Holy Mary statue not being broken, they cried.

Now, Holy Mary is placed in our home here in America.

I will keep praying to Holy Mary and all to my family, friend and others to support me and hope my planning will continue according to God's will.

Summer Rosaries

This Summer, I am making mission rosaries to be sent to prisons, churches, and donations for Eternal World Television Network (EWTN).

Making rosaries for Ambassadors of Mary

Mr. Miles Arakaki and I and my rosary donation box

I met Mr. Miles Arakaki at my parish. Mr. Arakaki organizes for the  Ambassadors of Mary: The Pilgrim Virgin Ministry. The basic idea of "The Pilgrim Virgin" is this: Most people are unable to make a pilgrimage to Fatima. Our Lady, with characteristic humility and love, overcomes this difficulty by reversing the process. She becomes the Pilgrim. Instead of your making a pilgrimage to her home at Fatima, she makes a pilgrimage to yours. Through "Pilgrim Statues" Holy Mary crusade from one house to another house to stay in the house for at least one week and when the statue arrive at the house we pray Rosary together.

I donated many rosaries, because Ambassadors of Mary has many " Pilgrim Statues" that visit numerous houses.

In this year 2010, I have donated about 300 rosaries to Mr. Arakaki and will continue to make more for those who needs rosaries to pray with.
